Dr Marianne Bell-Rosenberg at Bridge House Medical was incredibly dismissive of anything I had to say regarding my condition which has been going on for a year and something that has caused me to end up in A&E. Other doctors at Bridge House Medical just get it (e.g. Dr Brother and Dr Ellacott). Dr Bell-Rosenberg wanted to get me off the phone as quickly as possible, was unclear in terms of what she was doing for me and really didn't listen. The call finished abruptly and I am bemused at her approach. I will not be using her again. No wonder she was available at the last minute.

Immediately put up a wall between us when I sat down, allowing only comments from her side. Spoke very fast, was condescending and would not listen to me upon deciding what my diagnosis was (without actually listening to what other symptoms I had). I mentioned a history of a disease in the family which was dismissed extremely quickly. She was then sarcastic and cold when she saw that I was not happy. A shame because I had just had a brilliant experience with the nurse whose approach was the complete opposite. Reception were lovely but would not let on if this Dr is popular or not, i'm guessing from her complete lack of social skills and empathy, she isn't.

This Doctor is new to me,but part of a practice I have been with for almost 40 years,I was unsure of her as she is younger than me. She put me at ease in the first few seconds,and,as this was the first time she saw me,read my case notes..she had different eyes.. The course of treatment she reccomended is having some results. I have no reservations in reccomending this Doctor at all
